I got this bug some time ago, for me it was only when using the hotkey, if i use the eyedropper on sme it went fine.
Cant recall if just deleting the ENU folder or a max reinstall solved the problem.

Hi, sorry for the late response, so here are the data
Win 10 Pro Os build 19045.4780  Windows feature experience pack 1000.19060.1000.0
3dsmax 2025.3  Corona 13, amd 7950x  128gb ram
We are not using autosave or render history, NOT receiving any kind of memory error on corona, task manager shows plenty of ram available.

Totally behind this tool, Please give more love to this idea, i been asking for it for maybe 2 years, the current memory report is TOO simple, almost worthless to debug a problematic scene..

Gallery / My shortlisted Archisource project
« on: 2025-08-27, 16:27:46 »
I made this project for the Archisource London competition.
Inspiration came from a not so distant future of a quiet place to live... A man can dream.
It manage to get shortlisted among 7.000 submissions from over 100 countrys :)

No AI was used on the project except to make a human and my dog 3d model.

The project was selected to be in the 2025 book https://archisource.store/

We are having a recurrent problem around here, sometimes after a period of user inactivity in 3dsmax, when we render an interactive or normal render it takes AGES to clean, it starts using the hdd 100% for a while, we are not using out of core textures, the machines have 128gb of ram and the scene is using 63% of it according to task manager.
Is this expected ? any way to not have it behave like this ?

General CG Discussion / Re: disappointment with corona 13

Democracy sucks sometimes..

This and a lot more problems is why i think vantage for corona should have a discount for the users who are beta testing the software.

I'm very critical on the forums, but this time i want to thank everyone at chaos corona, Corona 14 (trello board) has a lot of the user requested features in it, Not all my favorites but this is what users vote for.
thanks again, hoping to find the scene parsing Rewrite in the next one.

9
I dont think so, chaos scatter lacks many tools, too bad developers don't listen carefully or development is very slow.

10
WOOW the change is indeed huge, do you have the render times for those ?

Hi,
thanks a lot for the video, that helps a lot. Unfortunately I still cannot reproduce it. I can see you have some high dpi wide monitor, is that right? Could you pls post here your monitor setup you have (how many, which one is primary, and their dpi)? That would help be really helpful - as it might be problematic only in your specific setup.
Best Regards
Jakub
Hi Jakub
My display resolution is 3840*1080, just one display on this one pc (this one is sitting at the office) Im remoting to it trough parsec.
Windows scaling is at 100%

You have a little render on your AI

Just a friendly comment about the images, tone down the AI output.

We would love to use the sky fog with any hdri.

I did a post 4 years ago exposing the "corona high quality" denoiser  https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=32452.msg182932#msg182932
It just become my secret sauce for faster rendering, i did chat with the developers at that time and they SAY that they knew about this, corona denoiser being subpar with the intel One But meh it was never solved or looked in 4+ years.....
Feel free to render with 10% noise limit and intel denoise on 0.65
I render all our animations with these same settings, on animations i can go up to 12% noise...

I can't believe this is achievable since 2021! Geez.
I wonder what other secrets are hidden in this forum that would save us tons of hours and electricity.
Kind of hard to believe this wasn't used by the Corona team as default having GPU rendering winning in rendering speed. What a shame.

There is more, better performance for any render, and yes i made a post years ago asking for the change.
