I have similar issues with motion blur of objects. Usually IR works fine, but final render is totally scr*** with strange artefacts allover.

Hi,
I haven't been using LightMix in production until recently. But I have a huge problem on a current project where I get constant crashes when rendering Light mix.
I have just a few lights in the scene + hdri.
I'm rendering 4K. I'm using Takes. File is approx 1.2GB of size.

When I turn off the denoising everything works fine.
Any ideas on what could be the problem?
Could it be the ram? I only have 64GB.

Hi,
I've been getting this strange behavior where I would set the desired Bump value on an object's material. Then I would duplicate the object (Render Instances) and lose all the bump on the copied objects. As soon I changed the Render Instance to regular Instance, the bump returned.

Someone having same issue maybe?

Hello everybody,
my client wants to see 360 panoramas with their Oculus glasses. Which service to use?
I prefer an online service compared to a desktop app because it's just more convenient for updating.

1. theViewer
Very disappointed with their service!
Had a few technical issues (p.e. when I replaced an image in the control panel with a new one, the old one kept showing up). So I couldn't refresh the images at all, maybe deleting the whole project would work, but that's a lot fo work when you already have all the hotspots setup.
I contacted their helpdesk and till this day I got no response! Nothing.
I also asked for a refund because I had to switch to another service in the middle of the project. No answer.

Oh, also installing of the VR app didn't work.

2. LAPENTOR: https://lapentor.com/
Very happy with their service and responsiveness. Everything works great.
But can't seem to use VR glasses.
Now I found a way to use it with VR glasses.
But it seems it does not work with Oculus. Tried to configure but finally didn't manage to.
Worth trying for cardboard VR sets I think.

3. 3DVISTA https://www.3dvista.com/en/
Seems to offer everything I need, I haven't tried it though.
But it's a desktop app which is less convenient for updating the images (more uploading, more potential technical problems).

4. KUULA https://kuula.co/
Haven't tried it. I'm not sure they offer VR glasses support.

Their helpdesk sent me this:

I've changed (Bengamins file) from UVW to Object and the bump is not visible anymore.
So I guess the bump is working only for UVW Tile projection.
Very annoying I must say.

I can confrim Bump is not working when using Tile shader in Bump slor.
Using filter doesn't help.

Any news regarding this?

Yes, crazy times indeed :) And they even go way higher on german ebay.
Considering times, I guess 1080ti isn't a bad buy then, for cinema4d viewport performance. Especially considering 1080ti has 11GB, which is a significant boost compared to my 1GB :)

Hey peeps!
I'm very happy with my purchase, thanks again for all the help.
However I got a bit lazy with purchasing a new graphics card.

I have an offer for 1080ti (650€) on the table.
Or should I wait for the new rtx3080ti ?

I render ONLY on cpu, so I only need it for the best possible viewport efficiency.
Should I wait or get the 1080ti? What are your thoughts?!
