Seems like the light from hdri sun somehow disappears behind the glossy floor reflections. Tried restarting max, creating new materials, hdr map and settings, checked normal orientation etc. Can't figure out what's wrong, the scenes is set up exactly as I usually do.

Scene setup: HDRI light map (VrayHDRI node connected to color correction) in environment slot, rest is corona default settings.

First image shows how the light should look like, then i ONLY change floor material settings, nothing else.

Floor:
reflection 0
refl. glossiness 0

Floor:
reflection 0.5
refl. glossiness 0

Floor:
reflection 0.5
refl. glossiness 0.4

Floor:
reflection 1
refl. glossiness 0.3

Just noticed that if I hide the window glass, the light behaves correctly. Tried creating new geometry for the glass and new material, still the same result.

Hi, this is a known problem:

(scroll down to "known bugs/problems...")

Solution: use "Thin (no refraction)" mode for window glass or if you need the refractions, use rayswitch material to make this material invisible in reflections.

Hi.

I am sorry, I was looking around in the known bugs thread but I must have missed it. Thank you for your reply, I'll solve it with rayswitch. That I wouldn't be able to solve with only trial&error.

Thank's again!

This problem looks different in the example image in support portal and in your renders so this is completely understandable that you had problems identifying it. :) If you need any assistance with the rayswitch (or any other thing), you can write here or submit a new support ticket:
