hi everyone
yesterday i installed the new Daily Build and i noticed a decrease speed Rays/s from 1,7M to 1,2M, is it normal?

I dont know how much opacity is in the image, but the number can be indeed lower for scenes with multiple twosided/hybrid glass objects/opacity maps/..., even though the overall speed could be faster. So unless you see some big decrease in performance (amount of noise after some time), I would let it be

ok, i understand.
I didn't notice a drastic decrease in performance,  numeric only. :)

I would still make sure the new build is not slower. It should definitely not be slower. So it would be great if you could make a test with both builds rendering for the same time and then compare noise.

ok.. is it possible have both versions in same time? without have two version of 3ds max?

here is a comparative test..

last DB have less Rays/s but more speed.

last build.. same file but there is a difference on specular highlight..
