I was thinking to post the same idea... but found this... could it be done with scripting?
Should it be a new "mode". or something special you get with Corona?

thx.
Stephen

The selection box you use to select objects in max viewports disappear when I start the corona interactive renderer.

Is this a known bug?
Am I the only one seeing this?

Thanks.

Thanks all for your feedback  @daniel266 its a premade asset with color corrected materials. @Strohkopf I dont have much experience with Lego nor have I ever watched Star Wars ;) and yes may be 2 pillows in brown would have made the scene little more interesting :)

Ok I think we have to BAN Dollmaker! for lack of experience with LEGO and for not watching Star Wars!

Hi Corona people.

We have now come a little further with our augmented reality book.

We used Corona for rendering of our product animations in the video we have on our Kickstarter campaign.
You can see the video here

www.booksandmagic.com/kickstarter

We also used Corona for the still images in the book, something like this:

If you like what you see on our Kickstarter campaign we would really appreciate it if you share it.

Just get a computer that runs the latest games... then you are good to go for 3D/rendering.

Look here for inspiration.
https://www.mm-vision.dk/computer/vision-plus-computere

I have bought my last 4 computers from them, they are the same as would build myself (more or less).

I am sure you can find something similar where you live

This is the teaser video of the augmented reality children's book, we are working on.
It is rendered in corona with 3d models from the game.

File uploaded.

Go to frame 90 and use camera005.

[Max] Resolved Bugs / Re: Geometry motion blur destroys mesh

I think I found what creates the error.
The object has a CoronaLightMtl where "Emit Light" is unchecked.

If I give the object a CoronaMTL and sets the self illumination multiplayer to 1 and add the texture to that channel, the motion blur renders correct.

Makes sense?

I will not upload a file here in public, but i will open a support ticket so this problem can be looked in to.

OK?

[Max] Resolved Bugs / Geometry motion blur destroys mesh
« on: 2015-05-29, 13:45:24 »
The geometry motion blur destroys my mesh very badly. please have a look at my image.

What can this be?
I have adjusted the frame offset value to 1 and that fixed, but only in the very last frame of the animation.

Hope there is a solution out there.

Look what I found:

Looks like if i turn on gamma 2.2 on the V7.2 machine the renders come out exactly the same...

unfortunately that result is not what I am looking for.

New quick render with gamma enanbled in V1.0

I can enable it, but not sure what the value should be... Have played around with it before i posted first.
It gets almost right. BG color is much more "correct" but sails that are self illuminated a bit are way off... too saturated.

I'll keep playing around with it.

Here the two windows are together.
Front one, is the bad render.
Back one is the correct render.
