Thanks for the comments. Always open to critique, helps me to improve. The light halo's are just small corona lights placed at the tip of the flame, the volume material does the rest. Hadn't noticed the ceiling light spots, will check that out. It's a solid object so maybe "fireflies?"in the render.

Superb. How long did it take to model this and which software do you use? Great work!

My Gothic hall hall project. All modelled in 3DS Max. Rendered out with Corona. Bit of a volume material overdose but I love the effect. Textured with Mudbox and Photoshop. I'm looking for an alternative to Mudbox for painting textures so any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks to Coronarender YouTube channel for the inspiration and the great tutorials.

Hi all. Have downloaded a trial for substance painter and wonder if it's possible to utilise it with Corona. Up to now have used Mudbox but it's getting a bit outdated and I want to move on. If not Substance then any other software suggestions for painting texture would be greatly appreciated. I know substance uses PBR and would love to know the correct procedure to output and plug into the correct Corona material slots.

Hi all.
I'm trying to add fingerprints and lipstick marks to wine glasses and when using Corona layered material or blend material the glass gets really dark. I've tried using rayswitcher but refraction is still way off. Is this a bug. I've bodged it by using refraction colour combined with diffuse but it's not right. Any ideas?

Thanks guys it's for the flame of a kerosene lamp. I wondered whether there is any way to use corona light material but can't get it look right. Increasing its brightness blows out all colour. Will have another play with it.

Just wondering what your suggestions would be to create a flame material.
