Hi all
Just wondering what your suggestions would be to create a flame material.

Re: Flame material
I'd have thought a texture map, fed into Self Illumination on a material. Works in most cases, and the object can then usually be a plane. Any specific use you were thinking of, as that may change how you approach it?

Re: Flame material
Thanks guys it's for the flame of a kerosene lamp. I wondered whether there is any way to use corona light material but can't get it look right. Increasing its brightness blows out all colour. Will have another play with it.
