[C4D] General Discussion / Re: strange reflection

Randomizing planks position and rotation is correct way to achieve this, but if for some reason you can't or don't want to do that, then you can play with normals. below is a short video demonstrating how it works. It's for 3ds Max, but i think the same principle can be easily transfered to C4D. You can also add Corona multi map, to get proper randomization.

Sadly this is not possible with Corona camera. There's request for this to be implemented, you may want to show your support in this tread: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=27883.0

The only workaround i can think of, would be to render z-depth pass and do DOF in post.

I don't think thin film texmap can be successfully used with Corona physical material, at least not in a way it's intended to. I think you need to use legacy material, which of course doesn't have clear coat.

Nope, just a lot of ticks repellent.

It looks like a job for the Siger's thin film texmap. https://www.sigerstudio.eu/sigertexmaps-thinfilm/

Did you check if problematic object has proper UVs?

Cryptomatte support is planned in V8 along with many other highly anticipated features: https://blog.corona-renderer.com/corona-in-2022-new-features-visuals-licensing-and-more/

I'm not familiar with import from Revit settings, but you may check the scale even when the models already imported in 3ds Max - select your model, then in command panel, go to utilities tab and open measure panel. There you will see object's dimensions. Next, change your gizmo to select and observe it's scaling factor in transform type-in window. If the scale is not 100%, you need to reset your object's transforms - command pannel>utilities>reset xform.

Hi,

Open render setup> system>system settings and make sure that image upscalling factor is set to 1.0

Hi,

I would suggest to check if your building and scene are of correct size and also check if the models are scaled at 100%.

Disconnected guard rails are bigger hazard than no guard rails at all.
