You didn't mention the most important thing - did you contact the support by opening ticket at Chaos help portal? https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new It is the only way to solve licensing issues. Tough messaging on the forum is ok if you want to share your experience, or just vent your frustration.

By the way, dilation can be added in post too. There is/was Photoshop plugin for that, i think from Flamingo Pears, but i might misremember that - haven't touch Photoshop for years.

You didn't say where you are baking the maps, but assuming it's with Corona, then in 3ds Max this setting is called padding. Just be aware, that in Corona, unlike in any other render engine, more padding equals more render time, so it's not recommended to increase it much :]

@maru, what about custom tiles ID pattern? Do you think it would be possible to implement such feature? I think it would be really useful to many users.

Selecting scattered instances is just a matter of couple mouse clicks. Fulfilling your request would mean a trade of quite useful feature for a tiny bit of convenience. Are you sure it's worth it?
Edit: my bad, i see it's about forest pack, not about Chaos scatter. Maybe it's worth to ask Itoo to implement easy selection of scattered instances instead?

Try to adjust ray directionality until polygon edges will disappear from AO. Plugging AO to Corona color correct and adjusting contrast, or curves might also help to deal with this issue.

Hi,
Corona does not support Max 2026 yet. If you want to use it with the latest Max, you need either download and install latest daily build, or wait a week or two for upcoming Corona 12 Update 2, which will have Max 2026 support.

The third image is not solid glass sphere, it's soap bubble. If you want that look, then enable thin walled option and add some colourful gradient to reflection to emulate thin film effect. On the other hand if you want glass sphere, but don't like how it magnifies a golf ball inside it, you can scale it down until it looks right in the render. It's a cheat, but nobody will now if you don't tell them ;]

Additional outputs allows you to have single randomization map which controls multiple textures at once. It's there for user convenience and workflow simplification and has no effect on how randomizer itself is working. You can read more about additional outputs in this article: https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/articles/15771759780369-Multiple-Input-and-Output-Maps I highly recommend you to read it and adopt this functionality to your workflow. Once you do that, you will wonder how could you live without this before ;]
