well...tried it in opacity slot...white in front face black in backface...the model turns black.

am i doing it wrong?
If it's a solid model (with thickness) then nothing is wrong, you are simply viewing the inside of the model, which is black because no light gets inside. :)

This is not Corona-related. You are using Photoshop, and it does not cope with alpha very well. You can:
-use another software for compositing
-if you want to render black/darker background while keeping the appearance of the scene, use direct visibility override in scene settings of Corona
-you can use this option in PS: http://www.pixelcg.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/matte.jpg

That's odd. It should only be in focus if the ball is in focus. Different than when looking at a flat mirror.

I can provide some testings when i will have some spare time.

It's just the way Corona works. You can use CoronaFrontBack map in opacity slot to produce the same effect.

I noticed that there is a big slowdown when you use AO as opacity too, but it renders much much faster if you remove the ground plane. Maybe Corona doesn't like calculating shadows for opacity based on AO?

The lights still have very sharp edges. Have you tried this solution?

Sorry but this is an extremely vague report. More details, please. I just linked a Corona light to a dummy, then linked the dummy to an animated object and everything is fine. How did you rig all the objects together? Please attach at least screenshots, and the whole scene would be best.

If you have some rotating objects in your scene, then maybe you are experiencing this?

It was about 12h for 356 pases on my i7 3930K somwhere around 56-59k saples\s i think it was because of opacity on those trees.
Not sure but I would suspect there is some error in scene setup. Are you using displacement heavily here? Maybe this would be a nice scene to test 1.2 with its displacement improvements once it's out. :)

Anyway, can't wait to see this evolve!
