[Max] I need help! / Rendering for configurator
« on: 2019-09-16, 12:09:11 »
Hi guys,
I was wondering if it's possible to create an HDRI map from a scene. I need to create the HDRI from an interior scene. I remember this was possible in Vray setting up a spherical cam and FOV to 360.
Is it possible in Corona too? Thank you for your much appreciated help.

[Max] I need help! / Problems with caustics
« on: 2019-06-11, 12:40:01 »
Hi all,
I was playing around with Corona 4 to try caustics. Despite all the tests I've made I can't get the result.
Caustics don't show up. I've set up a simple scene:
- plane and backdrop
- solid glass sphere + prism
- direct light (tried sun / light / Ies)
- checked "ENABLED" caustic solvers under Settings > Performance
- Material is the Corona Library glass, checked the "CAUSTICS (slow)" button
- Checked "Generate Caustics" in every light i tried.
- tried to increase Max Sample Intensity over 100 (Performance > Speed vs Accuracy balance)

In the attached image caustics should be show up.
What am I missing or doing wrong?

Hello everyone. I need some help from Phoenix FD users.
I'm new to this program and trying to learn how to get the smoke rendered in Corona.
I looked everywhere but found some solutions but in the end I'm still very confused about it.
I have to make an animation of smoke circulation in a close cabinet.
I had the smoke running on the path and so on.
What I do not seem to understand is the next step, rendering it in Corona: I believe, from what i discovered so far, I will need to convert the flow to mesh, but after that, black..
Is there anyone that could kindly point me in the right direction and giving me some advice on the corret workflow?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
