Hello everyone. I need some help from Phoenix FD users.
I'm new to this program and trying to learn how to get the smoke rendered in Corona.
I looked everywhere but found some solutions but in the end I'm still very confused about it.
I have to make an animation of smoke circulation in a close cabinet.
I had the smoke running on the path and so on.
What I do not seem to understand is the next step, rendering it in Corona: I believe, from what i discovered so far, I will need to convert the flow to mesh, but after that, black..
Is there anyone that could kindly point me in the right direction and giving me some advice on the corret workflow?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Anyone? I searched again everywhere but could not find any useful information. Only thing Is OpenVDB: exporting from Phoenix FD and importing This format should work? Any advice?

If you have Phoenix FD installed, you can render directly without the need to export to OpenVDB first. Should just need to set the correct material properties and away you go :)

Hello there,

I have a quick question, I'm under carpet bombing deadlines and I desperately need to create some fog for some ships. I've done some sim with Phoenix FD, but to apply the CoronaVolumetric material, I need to output the simulation as open vdb and the import it via Corona right?  OR is there a way to apply the material directly in the phoenix grid simulation? The Phoenix material seems a bit too slow !

Thank you !!
