Interactive Render with distribute

It is possible to make IR working with distribute render /Same in Vray RT/

I remember a thread about it (can't find it now...) and the official position was that it is not going to happen (at least in near future) as IR updates over network would cause too much lag and make IR useless. Not sure about the status of this now...
