A new render node which emulates Neil Blevins Blended Box Map script.  VrayTriplanarTex looks like it should install as an available map even to users without Vray installed.  Is it possible to recognize and render this node via Corona in the future, similar to how VrayHDRI is supported?

Looks very useful. Hope something like this can appear for Corona also, or support for the shader directly, perhaps.

1+ for this, I would really really love to see this implemented. The triplanar map is the thing i miss most from V-Ray

It should be added as a standard shader in 3ds Max, so we will not be implementing it ourselves

Hi everyone & especially Ondra,

I've read around that the triplanar mapping will be implemented in Max 2017 but many of us (I think) will be stuck with 2015/2016 for a long time... Any chance Corona to have that triplanar map by itself?

Thanks!

sorry, we are not planning to do that, we will focus our time elsewhere since this is solvable without our help
