Another photo-reproduction of my favorite photographer.. Federico Cedrone.
in this case i tried to recreate a shot he made for Varenna, for study the composition, test the materials and light.

Pretty nice. I think there is a bit more contrast in the original. I opened both versions in 2 tabs and switched between them and at some point I got confused which one is render and which is photo. :)

yes Maru you are right, the original photo is more contrasted, i try to modify it to create same effect :)
thank you, I am very happy to hear this, i want to try other light effect like volume fog and environment fog to play a little :)

Also I think that plate with triangular pattern does not fit there very well. It is very distractive.

yep maru you are right, that plate must be changed

a little first test with fog environment
maybe too much smoke :D

I would suggest you to avoid maps in volumetric fog as they won't be volumetric anyway. I think solid color would look better, or maybe noise with much bigger features.

Either there is a sandstorm or fire near that kitchen, your dusk is just too strong.
