Hi guys,

Is there a way to see the render elements through a transparent material (or do i always have to render twice (glass and no glass)

thanks

Which specific render elements do you mean? You can exclude glass objects from masks if this helps, but there may be problems if the object behind the glass is distorted by refraction.

mostly ZDEPTH & material ID. Changes because of refraction in the glass could be a problem

Currently, you can make materials invisible to certain render elements, but unfortunately not propagate their refraction to render elements. It's known limitation and removal of this limitation is high priority.
