the old scene, tested vray settings - that's now the corona.

most problem was the glass, resulting in:
is a single-layer ground,
material twosided,
refraction color light grey (180)
object properties - uncheck cast shadows.

on rendering speed, there is no difference, is there glass or not.
but the glass can be seen in the picture.

1) corona clear render without photoshop
2) v-ray with photoshop
3) corona with photoshop - corrected color and sharp

Good, but:
1. Use 2 sided mode for windows glass
2. Use portals
3. Set blur parameter in the bitmap to 0.01
4. use very small amount of bump (blur = 0.01), example 0.05

when you load bump/spec/gloss map are loading them with gamma 1.0 ?

it depends from gamma setting in the 3dsmax and your choice in load bitmap parameters.

I'm working with Vray on this setup, is it ok for corona?

I more often save to exr format, that is why I set up output to 1.0.
So, if that is the case - should I setup gamma 1.0 for my bump/ref/spec maps?

thanks Polymax, just one more think that bother me - why corona is so sensitive to bump and glossy value? sometime even when I setup glossy to 0,2 I still get kind of hard reflection on my object, do I miss something?

Please, post example image or scene, so hard to imagine what you're talking about.

Sorry for my ignorance, but does portals make big difference in image quality? Same like in vray for example?
