If you have some free time, could you try to replicate a bug that is shown in video below. For me it's 100% reproducible in max 2014. Ondra says it works fine in max 2016. Some testing would be appreciated.

Can confirm for:

1.00 DailyBuild Mar 30 2015, Maxsdk version: 2014 (SP3)
Build timestamp: Mar 30 2015 01:31:34

And for Max2016:

Corona version: 1.00.02, Maxsdk version: 2015
Build timestamp: Mar 16 2015 21:48:48

It´s not as simple to reproduce in Max2016 though. Additionally I even get random crashes, minidump 2014 + 2016 attached.

Good Luck!
Never underestimate the power of a well placed level one spell.

2015 here, confirmed. Happens for any "falloff type" with any local/world direction. Funny that it also happens if you pick shadow/light and have local/world selected on the lower list, even though it's greyed out. Happens only when IR (floating or docked) is running. Happens with both slate and compact meditor. Luckily I was able to make it crash, so here is the minidump, maybe it will help.
