I have a very heavy scene and all render great except when spot IES lights are added, it`s very very noisy, needs around 400 passes to look ok. Gi, reflect and all passes look correct except direct light pass. When I Isolate just the element with IES light it renders correctly. I would expact reflection to be the problem but not direct lighing. Please find attached images of the problem.

What version of Corona you're using?

How are you adding the lights (what kind of object is it)? The easiest solution would be to upload the scene (or a simplified version of it where the problem occurs).
Could you also check if this happens with a different IES file?

I unloaded IES and unticked it and its still there. I cannot share file as its confidential. Do you have any idea what might be the problem? Its not the IES file ad direct pass is clear from start when rendered without other objects around.

edit: I worked it out, kind of. Switching from disk to rectangular shape made it act correctly.

if that helped, I would be definitely interested in the scene (you can massively simplify it, to the point of just having the light and walls, if the problem still happens)

Just sorted it out, that wasn`t the problem. I had several instanced and grouped lights and after multpling it around ten times, all those light started to give flickers, while other light that aren`t grouped remained the same. I remmember that in Alpha6 grouped light made 3dsmax crash and file got damaged. Seems like a connection.

edit: somehow the problem appears when I have alot of light rendered at once, those light that are problematic, when rendered alone, work correctly. This is really frustrating.

If this is really the issue then increasing light samples multiplier should help. If it takes too much time per pass then, then you can decrease gi vs aa samples value. I hope it helps. If you can't provide the scene, then maybe you can reproduce the same issue on some simplified scene and upload it here?
