I have carpets in my scene that I have created with CScatter which is a great tool btw. But I am wondering how to go about texturing the carpet. The base mesh upon which the rug models are instanced over has a texture pattern that has different colors. CScatter distributes the instanced mesh with its own material on the base mesh. Is there a way I can get the instanced objects to take the textures from the base mesh or project the textures of the base mesh over the instanced meshes?

You mean like this approach used with forest pack?

I don't see how you can do this with CScatter, but would be a nice addition.

I can't think of any way to do this with CScatter other than converting scattered objects to mesh.

+++1000 for adding to Corona Scatter texture option same in FP/+++ for adding Corona Scatter map :)))

Hopefully 2019 will be the year when Corona scatter will get UV from distribution object functionality :]
