The abbe number indicates the variation of refractive index respect to different wavelenghts.
In Corona there is no dispersion parameter on refractive materials yet, only some shader aproximations made by some users.
Dispersion has been requested  and has being said to be developed in the near/far future.

It could be that the future dispersion shader of Corona for simplicity sakes takes in to account just this number but i'm afraid that you must ask for it as "feature request".

Search the forums for "dispersion"

Hello borisquezadaa,
thank you for your info.
I know what Abbe is.
That's why i wanted to know if it is implemented. The caustics check box doesn't do anything for me at least.

this issues are really bugging me. I do a lot of glass, and up to now, even keyshoot does better glass than corona. Is this gonna be fix soon devs ?

Boris, why didn't you mention your fake aberrations approach? I think it's a good workaround for now. :)
