We couldn't get our DR-nodes to work with alpha6. Corona DR was unable to start 3dsmax.
We changed one of the lines in the DrConfig.txt
Default line is 2014 C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max Design 2014\
Changed to 2014 C:\Program\Autodesk\3ds Max Design 2014\

Now our DR nodes respond properly.

Did you move 3ds Max after installing? This path is read from the registry, where the 3ds max installer puts it

No. We didn't move 3dsmax.
For some reason the folder windows usually names "program files" is called only "program" in the swedish windows7
The "real" path is indeed program files, but swedish version of c: folder still calls it "program" (Maybe it's a language-shell on top?)
Either way it causes corona DR to fail initialising 3dsmax unitl I changed the ini file. I'm surprised no one else (in sweden) came across this error.
And the problem is fixed by modifying the corona ini-file.

Yes, I used the installer.
When the drserver.exe is run the first time, it creates the drconfig.txt file (Since it is not created by the installer)

the install path is in registry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Autodesk/3dsMaxDesign/[your 3ds max version number - 2011 + 13].0/Installdir

Can you look what is stored there?
