Hello,

I have been using Corona for long now, and I am very happy with it, and I purchased a license recently to give Corona v1 a try, implementing it my workflow.

After installing the executable file, I could never start max again (I get an immediate crash) , until I remove the plugin Corona dlt plugin files from the Max plugin folder.

I tried removing the files and Max gracefully recovered and started (and all other render engines are working just fine), but as soon as I replace the CoronaUtils2014.dlt and the Corona2014.dlr files, all hell breaks loose.

Tried removing all corona files and reinstalling, same result.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
D.

I will try attaching it here, hope it helps :)

please replace the ms extension with dmp - it would not allow for dmp file upload.

Thank you,
Cheers

I've closed the mantis thread - there is no need to have this reported twice

ok, first bug report - inability to upload .dmp - was fixed ;)

the second bug report - the actual problem: can you try the latest daily build (The one I will make today)? If it still crashes, can you upload me a new minidump from that version?

Sorry, there was a big job I needed to deliver (I couldn't use Corona because of this issue and I needed to do it :( )

But good news to hear it may be fixed already, will give it a try asap - where is this version downloadable?
Will dump the dump in the upgraded forum if it happens as well ;)

Cheers and thanks!
Demetrio

Hello Ondra, the same happened, while reading Corona2014.dlt in the 3D Studio Max Splashscreen, pauses for a second and then you get the Autodesk crash report.

You can find the new minidump file attached

ok, I investigated, and both crashes are caused by a bug that was already fixed and is no longer happening in daily builds - so just update to daily to solve the problem
