Just started using Corona 1.0 today. Just noticed a scene I was working on using aipha 7.2 renders a metal material with normal map stripes fine. When I switched to corona 1.0 version, the material becomes completely black when rendered. When I unplugged the normal map texture, it rendered properly. Does this mean Corona 1.0 no longer supports normal maps or is there a requirement for them to work properly?

Check the gamma value your normal maps are loaded with. As far as I can remember A7 needed gamma 2.2 but 1.0 needs gamma 1.0. You can also use the checkbox inside the CoronaNormal map
Any sufficiently advanced bug is indistinguishable from a feature.
