hi! the problem is: corona alpha v7.2 and thinking particles5 = no problem
corona v1 + TP 5 : when rendering = current task: parsing the scene -> hanging, no reaction, cpu usage 0%
the new scene with just TP in it -> same situation

Same Problem here...
i think corona scene parsing calculate scenes from beginning on each frame,
mean if u are at frame 900 it will calculate from 0 to 900 it will sure stop responding...
its a bug in v1
in a7.2 and even 6 it wasn't  there.

well, i found some solution of this problem.
1. before 1st rendering u must kill your TP system
2. then Ctrl-Z and start rendering again - u got 2d normal rendering with TP
 Same thing with interactive rendering. kill-Ctrl-Z

or 2d var - set "On"  TP from 2 frame but start rendering from 1

but, anyway, strange, there are no reaction from corona team to this problem

I have never tested TP before, I will need to get a NFR license first to try it. Hold on.
Rendering is magic.How to get minidumps for crashed/frozen 3ds Max | Sorry for short replies, brief responses = more time to develop Corona ;)

well, i think shapematerial, materialtime, OP Paint, TP_texmap, etc. - none of them aren't working too.
So, of course now it's very inconvenient, but.. i guess, Ondra will find time for this ) somehow )
