I am rendering images at 18000 x 4500 px, beauty pass and SourceColor element.
I have tried to render and save the element only on my local machine - saving didn't work, max would freeze, waiting didn't help.
I then tried to render on a slave through backburner, rendering went fine, but again, max hangs after that when trying to save.

Are there known problems with saving images at these dimensions? I don't know if it has to do with the element, will have to test tomorrow. But having this happening on two machines suggests that it is a bug. I have definitely no network or drive space related problems.

Note: this is NOT v1.0, it's the last daily build (18-Feb-2015), with max 2014.

I have never encountered any problems. Maximum resolution I ever rendered was this little thing: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a0/Power_8_mandelbulb_fractal_overview.jpg - I did it with 16GB RAM. You can try saving similar renders in other renderers to confirm if this is a Corona problem

I tested again - two PCs hang after rendering and can't save the images, regardless if it's the beauty pass or the element.
Plenty of RAM free on both machines.

I can save a 10000 px width without any problems but 18000 px will hang, both when saving from Corona VFB or copying to max VFB first and saving from there.
Checked Path length and file name, all save fine when it's smaller, only the final resolution will freeze max.

Unfortunately I have no time to dig deeper right now, so can't really check with other setups.
