Hi all. first time using Corona render. I'm a C4D user. I selected the render, added a sun and camera, did nothing else. Clicked render. 11 minutes in and on 25th pass. Just wondering if other users are finding the render slow. For vray we had a test scene to test render times. Is there such a thing for corona for C4D?

Seems slow,

Regards,

George

Hey George,

in the original launch-blog-post for corona c4d, there was sort of a test scene included, provided by Thomas Vournazos.

It's a basic interior scene with dome and sun lighting, producing pretty good render times for me on 2 2,27GHz Xeons.

Hi Flo,

Thanks for your reply, I downloaded that scene. If I may ask, What was your render time for that scene?

Regards,

George

You're welcome!
i just did a quick 20 minute test render of that scene using all default settings from the scene
render-stats can be seen in the stamp in the lower right corner of the rendered image.
