First thing is:

When I reduce or add the number of items on the Item count, should the same number of connectors be updated on the node? I mean, if I only have 2 Items, the node still shows the 14 slots.

Have a look at the image I attached.

Second bug:

If I create 15 Items and try to use a map for the 15th Color/Map slot, the map is connected to the 14th slot and not the 15th.

ad1. I think it's ok or otherwise it would delete some of the slots if you connect something there, reduce number, change your mind, increase it again
ad2. probably naming issue

That was I thought. It isn't very logical.

Regarding the first situation, I was thinking about the Multi/Sub-Object node that once you set the number of sub-materials, it updates automatically the node. It's not a big issue, but it keeps consistency with 3ds max.

Multimap has still many usability issues. I will try to convince Ondra to fix it. UI could be done in a LOT less confusing manner.

CoronaMultiMap  and IR : every time I move the camera,  the object, or I change everything (add a sphere), the object color changes! Funny! ^__^
With producer render, it's ok!

No. Is not a big deal, but you can see a slight change in the color.
