Hey

Is there a way to increase the resolution of the HDRI loaded in the corona environment slot?

.....or do you think there is a better workflow to increase the reflection details from the HDRI.

Have searched this forum with no result unfortunately.

Cheers!

I'm also interested in knowing how to do this. Increasing the resolution of the texture in the domelight 'modify' tab doesn't really seem to make the sky more crisp in my images.

"Increasing resolution" of any image won't give you better detail... You need to have a bitmap that is prepared in higher resolution, that's all. For more "crisp" look you can try lowering/disabling blur parameter in your texture or disabling filtering in Corona's devel tab.

I am using 10000 x 5000 pixels Cg-Source HDRI loaded into a vrayHDRI map. Maybe that's not good enough I guess.

Perhaps the HDRI just ain't crisp enough in this case. I will do some more test renders and post a screenshot if this still troubles me. Thanks!
