Hi all,

Loving Corona and really thinking about making it first engine choice BUT i really need DR to be working.

Connected one of my slave machines to the workstation via DR box LAN option in the render setup. Slave ping appeared correctly because i started DRserver.exe in the same slave machine. So far so good.

Problem is when i start rendering.
It starts normally, in the DR tab says slave is connected. OK.
At around phase 6 of the render, a message appears and all stops suddenly. (shown in image attached)
Also attach DRserver dialog box.

Please help!

PS. Not using backburner, vray DR didnt needed it. Don´t really want to use it tbh.
To have Corona DR working do i really need to have backburner running?

We make a lot of tests for animation. Imho im strongly recomend to use BB. Corona DR is good for single frame hi-res.  A problem with skipping DR was in some topic. you need yo clean a folder... i forget which exactly. Use search.

- close DrServer.exe
- locate your DrServer installation folder (should be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Corona\DrServer")
- delete the "drData" folder
- launch DrServer.exe
- it should log "Cannot read the config file, default one will be created"

Jetcrow thanks for the reply.

We work 99% on high res images that´s why i like to simplify and go only DR with no backburner.

Tried to do that DR folder-delete solution but got the same problem.

BUT i think i found where the problem was. In the workstation, render setup, i had 20 time pass limits for the progressive rendering. I changed it to zero and now render doesnt stop and DR seems to be working fine. How wierd is that?

Have to test more and see if it goes smootly.

Ok, now all my 4 slaves seem to be DRing properly.

When render starts, it starts at around pass 800th!!!! Is that normal?

Anyone knows why that happens in the sky? Ive got all textures linking to the //workstation correctly like allways.

Yes indeed. Its a LAN issue with one of the servers. The other seem to be working fine.
