Here is the final result , living room for a commercial project , I tweaked the lighting system a bit , overall it looks cool as the client want a cool atmosphere

i like the lights hitting the telescope. just wondering is that a fence wall at the back of the glass?

yes it's a fence wall , i preferred t keep the outside with white diffuse to avoid green reflection of the grass so there is a small difficulty to recognize fence and outside ground

I liked the feel of the lighting from the WIP posting, but it seems slightly less strong here for some reason. Perhaps its the addition of all the other stuff in the scene that's throwing me off, but still nice nonetheless. I also prefer the original BG to the forest one there. All those trees just don't seem to fit with the tone of the image to me.

i added the forest with Photoshop , i agree with u the the tone of trees should be corrected ( brightness and color correction )
