A few weeks ago I mentioned that the scene parsing of one of my scenes was taking something like 15 minutes. After some suggestions I managed to get back to the normal 29 seconds or less. However, the problem I still have is:

Hit the button to do a render test - scene parsing 15 seconds
Hit the button to do a render test again - scene parsing 3 minutes

What is strange is that I can be doing some 5 or more render test without any problem and then suddenly it starts to increase to 3 or more minutes. And if I cancel  the render and start the render again without changing any setting, the scene parsing goes back again to 15 seconds.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I have 16GB of RAM.

The scene parsing that took 15 seconds I used 11GB of RAM. Let me see if I can get those 6 or more minutes of scene parsing and check the ram.

Thanks for the help.

Not a big a difference between Ram usage.

A scene parsing that was taking 3 minutes and counting used 13GB of RAM. Then I cancel the render and re-render again it took 49 seconds and used 12GB of RAM.
