hi!

i have one question... if i remember correctly in corona a6 - if you rendered a perspective view or camera without a corona cameramod on top of it - the global camera settings f-stop would alter the brightness of the scene? now in a7 (on our max 2014) this behaviour is flipped as it only alters the brightness when the "override scene camera/cameramod" checkbox is active? despite the on the fly help stating otherwise...  hmm. is this a bug or a feature?

edit: AND the f/16 default with 1/50 shutter doesn´t match the brightness i get when ticking the override checkbox? so what are those internal default settings now? or is there something wrong on our side?

edit II: what i meant before... the only way to change brightness is now when the "use photographic exposure" checkbox is ticked in the exposure settings as well. otherwise i don´t see any change. this behaviour was different in a6, wasn´t it?

best regards,

chris.

ok, third edit...

kim jong kwon kind of found out the same in his thread, but i don´t know if the behaviour is right or supposed to work as it does now? why does the brightness only change if you check photographic exposure in the exposure settings? because if you do that you can´t tweak the rendering further with the exposure values in the frame buffer? i think i liked better how that whole thing worked in a6, if i remember correctly.

cheers,

chris.

Yes, me too noticed difference in exposure adjustment when CoronaCameraMod is on. Doesn't like it either. Not sure if it's bug or feature, though.
Let's wait and see what Keymaster sais. If there will be no response, i'll move topic to bug section, where it'll surely catch attention.

The whole solution has became a a bit confusing. While it's not that hard to explain how it works, it is very counter-intuitive. So it will have to be redesigned somehow.
