There must be a way for my Chaos materials to stick. I am constantly finding the materials I download from Cosmos browser to drop their linked assets when I open up a previous file, or copy objects from one file to another. Unlike native materials where I get a reminder, ”Hey, wanna copy these assets into the tex folder?" it doesn't happen with Cosmos materials. And I only notice that they are broken when I try and render and they are just black.
Is there a setting I should have changed so I don't have to keep bringing in the same assets again and again?

HI,

Have you tried 'consolidating assets' in the project asset inspector? Click on the path column and look for any assets starting with asset then consolidate to put into your project tex folder. I have tons of corona materials in my asset browser and had proplems opening them up at a later stage. This solves the problem, might not work with Chaos mats but should in theory. John

I think I will have to get into the habit of doing this. Thanks.
