Hi!
I've got this problem installing C13 hotfox 1 on 3 machines.
Other 2 had no problem at all

Run as admin or not is the same.
At first I tried to install HF1 over corona 12
Then I tried Corona 13 not Hotfix and install ok
Than I tried Hotfix 1 with no avail.
Unistalled corona and installed HF1 not working
Only version 13 not Hotfix is working.
I attached a video

Edit:
3ds max 2020 in all machines;
Windows 10 in the 3 machines that refused it.
Windows 10 and windows 11 in the machines that were ok with it.

Thank you!
Manuel

So far all reports of this seem to happen on Win 10 (two users reporting this here on the forums, on a total of 4 machines). To take a look at what is going on, we'd really need the log from the failed installation. That log can be obtained by running the installer from the command line with the parameter -debug=3. If you could do that and add that log to the ticket, then that would be awesome and help us move forward faster. Thanks!

Hi Tom,
I tried to add the log to that chatbot thing but I don't know if it was added.

I don't neither know how to acces the ticket nor I received the mail.
Do you mind if I attach it here?
Here it is.

Thank you!
Manuel

Can you try disabling any antivirus and install the latest VC++ redistributables from here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 and see if it fixes the issue.

Also, you can try this https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/articles/4526313794065-How-to-install-Corona-manually-using-the-Unpack-option

Also after a bit of research I found this issue and it sounds related: https://www.installaware.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10434

Try deleting all temp files from %temp% and %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Temp

Thank you Avi,
tried all the above and no one worked.
Can't try the "unpack" option because the installer doesn't show that screen: it simply disappear (as in the video)

I can try to unpack from another pc and install it manually
Or maybe I'll wait HF2 :)
