Hello,

I bought a model from a city. The same has been provided in :

1) native max file with corona render textures
2)  fbx export from this file.
3) a folder of textures in different image formats (png, jpeg, etc).

When opening 1) model is opening correctly, however is reporting error that DLL for corona are missing (of course I don' t have corona render) and all textures are seen in black. I have tried to give max the path for textures folders but still shows black.

When opening 2) model is opening correctly and all textures have been converted to normal textures materials but ALL GREY.

In both 1) and 2) I am not able to find a way to identify which material belong to which texture mapping.

Would appreciate some help if someone faced and resolved this issue.

Thanks in advance.

I don' t have corona render.

Hi,

You can convert Corona physical materials to Max physical materials with this handy script. Mind you that this will only work if you HAVE Corona installed in your 3ds Max. You can download Corona trial from your Chaos account (you will need to create Chaos account if you don't have one).
I'm not Corona Team member. Everything i say, is my personal opinion only.
