Hey guys, does corona hair-material also works with the c4d fur-object (this is a simple hair object found in simulations/hair objects) ?

Yes, it does.

If you didn't already know, It is possible to render Cinema 4D's hair with Corona Renderer. By default, Cinema's standard hair material is supported by Corona and it can be used to fine-tune the final look you are going for, i.e.: hair, fur, or grass. Cinema 4D's hair material is a post-process material, It's applied at the time of render and gives the illusion of geometry.

ok,thanks burnin,
but I can“t get it to render !? Could you post a setup or something please ?
As I ghot it right you need to call up hair-render in the rendersettings if you want to render the fur-object but that is not possible within  corona render settings !?

I never used fur object, so I'm not sure. But hair works out of the box with Corona. With hair, you have also much more control :)

Corona can render Cinema 4D Hair, but not Cinema 4D Fur.

You're welcome! You can of course create "fur settings" in the Cinema 4D Hair. The Cinema 4D Fur is mostly a "cheat / fake" done to speed things up by not having actual geometry, rather than to do something that the Hair can't do.
