1. I've placed the map into the base color slot for reference - its what the rough should look like.
2. Map is placed into the base rough @ 100 (map options base rough)
3. Map is still in base rough @ 0 (map options base rough)

Why can't I see the map?

So I opened a new file and tried with the same parameters, which should of course work... and of course they do.

So, no idea what's going on. I know the original file was getting a little leggy (not sure why; not large) as I've been working on it. I've found with Vray and now Corona, that when it starts getting like that, things just stop working as they should... which is frustrating.

I should know better by now, but I still comb and search thru everything wondering why... what could be wrong... what have I done...!

Hi,

If you think something is wrong, please upload a simple scene where this is observed, and we will have a look.
There are many different possible factors in play here.

Hi, if you are numbering something 1,2,3, then please use the same numbers in the attached images. Otherwise it is hard to understand which image corresponds to which point.
Also, please share material editor screenshots as descriptions such as "Map is still in base rough @ 0 (map options base rough)" are very hard to understand.

Thank you!
