Hello guys,

When I try to simulate soft lighting by changing the COLOR MODE to SHADER and placing a GRADIENT, it works great; however, when I use a LAYER or MIXTURE SHADER and combine two gradients, the light appears absolutely black. Is it a bug or a current limitation?

Thanks

I am using Corona 13 and C4D 2025 and both appear to be working. Can you share your screenshots or instruct me how to reproduce the problem?

When I tested it in C4D 2025, it worked properly. The issue is with the C4D 2024.5.1

Something appears to be 'locking' the renderer in 2024. Restarting fixes it until another "Shader" is added to "Layer". Further/internal changes respond fine, but occasionally locks with changing orders...
