Direct Visibility Override Color other than black renders object washedout white. There is an HDRI map in Render Setup dialog,  Scene Tab - Scene Environment Rollout - at Single Map Slot.

I remember Override Color only changes the background color in older versions of Corona. Has anything changed? What might have I done wrong?

The only idea I have is that perhaps you have automatic exposure enabled in the VFB? Please let me know if that's the case.
It shouldn't be behaving like this anyway, so if we confirm that, I will report it as a bug.

Im sorry that I've taken your time. It seems some weird stuff happened. Turns out it was just a fluke.

I used Corona Cleaner to clear everything that the utility allows. Scene has not only become noticably responsive but the visibility override started working as it is.
