Hello. I have a Mac Studio M1 Ultra as my workstation and I also have a Threadripper 2990WX as a render node. I'm trying to send jobs over to it and set it rendering but I'm getting out-of-memory errors. Even simple files. I have 128GB RAM in there and there's plenty of room on the internal drives so I'm not sure what's going on. I can render a non-corona scene that's very complicated in comparison - no problem. Therefore, I'm assuming it's a Corona issue.

Does anyone have any ideas on this?
Thanks in advance...

Which version of Corona are you using?

Can you open one of the problematic scenes on both machines and render it locally, without TR? Does it render ok?

What is your RAM usage when running TR? Perhaps it's some kind of memory leak?

Hello. I did fresh installs of both Cinema 4D and Corona on both machines.
Installed more RAM into the machine to take it to 128gb
I can render both scenes on each computer when I assign 'full' license to each one.
However, I can't even render the simplest of scenes (one cube, floor and HRDI) on TR without an out of memory error.
It may be worth noting that this error happens before anything else. Literally crashes instantly, no asset downloading, nothing.
I thought it was the hard drive being full but I've now got 70gb and I've assigned the cache paths etc to an empty internal 2TB SSD.

I'm fresh out of ideas, and so is ChatGPT!

What are your exact C4D and Corona versions? I tried looking for similar reports and there are similar ones on the forum, but I couldn't find any solution. Do you have any IES lights in your scene? If yes, can you try deleting them and see if the RAM issue remains?
