Hi,

in 3D max falloff have input option but in c4d fresnel don't have input just gradient color and layer also does not work well.
attached screen shot.

What can be the best option for mixing two object/materials with falloff in C4D..?

Thanks.

Whats wrong with using layers and the fresnel gradient as a mask exactly?

Not sure what exact shader can be used in C4D, but in Max I would use the Falloff as a mask inside a Mix node.

Hi @maru, mix is layer material or mixture shader.

Thanks.

You can use Mixture (Corona shader) or Fusion (C4D shader).
Fusion is simpler, Mixture a bit more complex but gives more control.
