Hey!
We'd love to share our latest personal animation. If you are interested, you can find more about it here: https://www.behance.net/gallery/227774209/PANIKHIDA

This project is deeply inspired by Slavic culture - its rituals, mysticism, and rich symbolism. And the world that was born out of this feels both ancient and surreal.

On a technical side, it was an exploration of hybrid workflows.

We used 3D to maintain control over lighting, and details. AI helped us as a creative tool in worldbuilding and detail generation. On top of that, we used lots of matte painting/compositing techniques to tie everything together visually.

We hope you’ll enjoy it.

PS

Huge thanks to @euefoundation conference for giving us a platform to share a premiere screening of this project. The energy of the room was amazing! Thank you all for meeting us there and digesting our weird visions.

Extra shoutout to @pulzeio and Project Dream for credits that made working on this project so much smoother.

Tools Used:

3dsmax / Corona Renderer / Photoshop / After Effects / Premiere / Magnific / Tripo3d / Project Dream / KlingAI / Midjourney / ChatGPT

Thanks a lot! We definitely plan to do some sort of a making-of for this one.
