Hi all,

Im trying to find a tutorial but especially a way to create a single cloud in a room using volume mtl but i cannot find anything.

maye someone would have a clue?

You can either simulate a cloud with Phoenix, or model it yourself and apply a Corona Volume Mtl to it. Check out the "Cloud (opacity)" example here, it should be a good starting point: https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/articles/4528498501137

You can use displacement when modelling the cloud to get nice detailed cloud edges.

You can also check out this tutorial. It's ancient, but most of the information in it should still be valid.

Hi,

If you want to create the clouds, that you should simulate or base-model and displace-the-hell-out of it.

On the other hand, there are free cloud VDBs available online, which you can use and tweak by CoronaVolumeMtl.
