Sorry if this has been discussed before but I could not found an answer in the forum.

What options do I have if I only have one 3ds max license and want to use distributed render? Can I install the stand alone render in other computers and the will work together with the workstation? Vray offers a render slave installation.... :)

Install it in your render nodes, Corona requires it's license for backburner render, but it doesn't need any license for DR, if you want backburner just install and the installation will acquire the license, if you need the DR, install the DR server also and start the server from the folder where you installed it.

Hope this helps.

cheers.
