Hi everyone,
I’m excited to share my latest personal project titled "Snow & Sand", a visual exploration of contrasting elements—cold vs. warm, stillness vs. movement, minimalism vs. nature.
The first image of this project has been awarded Best of the Week on CGarchitect, which I’m thrilled about! It’s an honor to have this work recognized.
This project was rendered using 3ds Max 2025 and Corona Renderer 12, with post-production in Adobe Photoshop 2022. The works are in the initial phase, apartment will be built in Stajkovce, Serbia.

Softwares : 3ds Max 2025, Corona Renderer 12, Adobe Photoshop 2022
Render time : Approximately 6 hours per image
Resolution : 1200x1500 px (on my website you can see full resolution 4000x5000 px)
Lighting : HDRI map (Flamingo pan 8k)
Post-production : Minor adjustments in contrast, color grading, and sharpening.

Any feedback is more than welcome! Let me know what works or what could be improved.

This work leaves a strong visual impression and demonstrates a high level of both technical and artistic maturity. The artist successfully conveys atmosphere and narrative through seemingly simple compositions, using contrasts (cold vs. warm, static vs. dynamic, minimalism vs. nature) to create depth and meaning — a clear sign of deep visual storytelling understanding.

The aesthetic is refined — the carefully selected color palette and composition evoke a sense of calm and contemplation. Post-production is subtle and purposeful, enhancing the image without drawing attention to itself. I especially appreciate the balance between technical precision and artistic freedom — nothing feels excessive, yet everything is precisely where it needs to be.

The use of HDRI lighting is also worth highlighting. It brings softness and realism to the scenes while maintaining full control over the mood. This is a great example of how rendering can be used not just as a technical process, but as a genuine form of visual expression.

In short — I’m truly impressed. The work reflects dedication, skill, and most importantly, emotion. Congratulations to the artist!

Best regards, Andros.

😂

You clearly got chatGPT to write this... I'm guessing on your own post ... because no one else commented. 👍
