For some reason, the bloom and glare effect is visible in the VFB, but when I save the image, only the regular image gets saved – no bloom or glare. It happens no matter which image format I choose.
Anyone else having the same issue?

Hello there,
We've been trying to reproduce the issue but have had no luck so far.
Could you please try using the latest Daily Build and see if the issue persists?
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Kind regards.

I have the same issue. When I finish rendering with the BLOOM and GLARE effect applied and save the BEAUTY and BLOOM and GLARE passes, they are rarely or never saved. I need to resave it once or twice more till the effect is saved as well.

Which version of Corona are you using?
Could you please contact us about this at https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and attach your problematic scene archived with all assets? (File > Save project with assets)

Hi,

I'm sorry I can't share this project, but I've discovered out how to fix the issue. The option COMPUTE AFTER RENDER in the BLOOM AND GLARE settings must be enabled. As soon as the bloom is computed during rendering, it is not preserved.

Good to hear that at least you have a workaround. Can you please share which version of Corona, C4D, and what OS you are using?

I am using Cinema 2025.2.1 and Corona 13 Release Candidate 2 on Windows 11. I had the same problem with previous Corona versions. It was also reported.

Please do not use the Corona Release Candidate versions. Release candidates are pre-release versions, which may not be stable and may not work correctly.
Please update to Corona 13 and check if the issue is still there - https://my.chaos.com/download/build?product=Corona
