Halloo. I have a hand model which has one material for the skin and another material for the nails. They are added via polygon selection tags. Unfortunately having two SSS materials means I get the dreaded dark lines at the seams.

Do you know how I can combine the two materials into one to avoid getting the lines?
There are no opacity masks to use in the layered material shader unfortunately.

Here is one possible solution:
Use Volumetrics in a Corona Physical Mtl instead of SSS or Skin Mtl.
Then go to development/experimental stuff ( https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/articles/4528469959953 ) and disable the "use material-based medium resolving" option. It should work fine as long as the different materials are assigned to a single object (it is not split into multiple separate objects).
