Hi support, I'm having black squares on geometries with coronapattern when using a orthogonal view.  I also have with Xref scene linked with dummies.
If I use a coronacamera in perspective, everything is fine.

thanks!

Since you've posted in i need help board, can you try to render from Corona camera with projection type changed to orthographic and if that wouldn't work, change it back to perspective and reduce field of view to some very low value. The artifacts looks like NANs, the team probably will want the scene to reproduce, unless the issue is already known.
I'm not Corona Team member. Everything i say, is my personal opinion only.

thank you!

"can you try to render from Corona camera with projection type changed to orthographic and if that wouldn't work"  that is the way I'm doing it.

"change it back to perspective and reduce field of view to some very low value"  I need a perfect 2d representation, I would not work in this case.

Hi,

Can you please start a ticket and send us your scene so we can have a quick look and provide you a solution?

From the looks of it, those square pixels can be caused by multiple things. One of them as you already know is NAN issue. It would be best to send us your scene so we can check it correctly.

Thanks!  that only weird thing is if you change the camera to perspective, the problem doesn't happen.  what could it be the reason?

its same in perspective view also but you would see it in an angle. the main difference between orthographic and perspective is objects appears same size regardless of their distance from camera in orthographic but in perspective scene has a vanishing point so objects appear smaller and bigger depending on camera position. so in perspective, what matters is the location and viewing angle of camera.

So its not related to camera but how you were using corona pattern. I hope this clears any doubt.
