Hello,

on two fresh installed renderslaves running win10, corona12 hf1, 3dsmax2025, DRserver somehow closes after some renderings automatically, without any specific reason.

in the log is says : DR slave received command SOFT_TERMINATED

Scene was originally modeled in 2024, then opened in 2025.

Render with DR works fine, but at the end, DRserver is closed on render slaves (even if 3dsmax.exe remains running in background)

Any ideas ?

I think at this point we can only troubleshoot:

- Ensure that you are using exactly the same versions of Corona and 3ds Max on all machines involved in distributed rendering (i.e. Corona 12 HF1 and DR Server 12 HF1).

- Check for multiple instances: Make sure there's only one instance of 3ds Max and DR server running on each machine.

- Antivirus and Firewall: Temporarily disable antivirus software and Windows Defender/Firewall on all PCs to check if they're interfering with the DR process

- Windows Services: Check that "Function Discovery Provider Host" and "Function Discovery Resource Publication" services are started and set to automatic start

- Test with a simple scene: Try rendering a very simple scene (e.g., one teapot and one light) to see if the issue persists
